句型6.

有些動詞是不完全及物動詞，也就是需要加受詞以及受詞補語的動詞

那這個受詞補語呢~除了形容詞、名詞

還可以加上分詞作受詞補語！

主動意味使用現在分詞，被動意味使用過去分詞

這些動詞有find keep leave catch

例句1.

我發現他很懶惰

I found him quite lazy. 用quite lazy當受詞補語

例句2.

請讓窗戶打開吧

Please keep the window open.

keep意思是"使得...如何"，後面有window當受詞，open這裡是形容詞，打開的

例句3.

龍捲風過後，他們發現整個家都被吹走了

When the tornado was gone , they found their entire home blown away.

blown away 用過去分詞p.p. 因為家是被吹走的，被動意味。修飾their entire home

例句4.

他們留我在外面等

They left me waiting outside.

我等待，是主動意味，故使用waiting現在分詞

例句5.

強烈的颱風造成數十人受傷

The violent typhoon left dozens of people injured.

受傷是被動的受到傷害，所以使用p.p. 而injured這個字本身意思就是受傷的 adj.

練習1.我回到家時發現弟弟睡在沙發上

When I returned home, I found my brother sleeping on  the sofa.

練習2.很抱歉讓你等那麼久

I am so sorry to have kept you waiting so long.

練習3.我們英文老師抓到John考試作弊

Our English teacher caught John cheating on the test.

練習4.學校的功課及課外活動使他非常忙碌

The schoolwork and extracurricular activities keep him very busy.

練習5.別讓你的狗在公園跑來跑去

Don't leave your dog running around in the park.

練習6.我回到座位時發現錢包被偷了 

When I came back to my seat, I found my wallet stolen.

練習7.我走出餐廳時，發現我的車被拖吊了(tow away)p.p.

When I went out of the restaurant , I found my car towed away.
