表讓步的副詞子句第三篇

無論A或B，不管是A或者B

Whether A or B , S + V

說明：這個句型表達的是，不管A情形或者B情形，事情都會怎樣怎樣發生

通常A跟B詞類相同但意思相反

例句1. 無論醒著或睡著，這個問題一直縈繞心中

Whether I am asleep or awake , the question is always in my mind.

=Asleep or awake , the question is always in my mind.

當A跟B詞性相同意義相反時，可省略Whether I am 等其他部分

例句2. 無論他來不來，會議照常舉行

Whether he comes or not , the meeting will be held as scheduled.

=Whether or not he comes , the meeting will be held as scheduled.

當A與B是動詞片語時，B通常用not表示即可，以求簡潔

原本是Whether he comes or doesn't come

直接用not就可以。

也可以將or not往前放，變成Whether or not 

例句3. 無論你幫不幫忙，我都要讓這個夢想實現

With or without your help ,  I am going to make this dream come true.

省略Whether S+V的形式

練習

Whether it is summer or winter , he takes a cold bath.

=Winter or summer, he takes a cold bath.
